2023 Barren County Fair Pageants

Only 1 person per contestant is allowed backstage and in the dressing room. There is no standing in the audience AT ALL.

I agree the Barren County Fair board nor any of its associates nor the Temple Hill Lions club are responsible for any illness, accidents, injury, lost/stolen/damaged items.

Pre-Teen

I understand that if I should win, I will have to send a copy of my birth certificate to prove that the contestant must be 8 years of age on June 30th and cannot be 13 on October 31 when the local pageant is held at the local fair. I agree I have never held the title “Miss Pre-Teen Barren County Fair” in years past. I agree that if I have ever won “Miss Pre-Teen Barren County” I am only eligible for “Miss Pre-Teen Barren County Fair”. I understand that if the contestant may win the title of “Miss Pre-Teen Barren County Fair”, she will advance to the “Miss Pre-Teen Kentucky County Fair pageant”. If the contestant may not fulfill her duties or chooses to partake in any behavior deemed inappropriate by a vote then she will be required to send back all prizes and money including crown and banner and the first runner up will take her place. I understand if for some reason the state pageant is not held or the contestant cannot compete at the state pageant, no further rewards will be given to the queen including monetary prizes.

Teen

I agree I have never held the title “Miss Teen Barren County Fair” in years past. I agree that if I have ever won “Miss Teen Barren County” I am only eligible for “Miss Teen Barren County Fair”. I understand that if the contestant may win the title of “Miss Teen Barren County Fair”, she will advance to the “Miss Teen Kentucky County Fair pageant”. If the contestant may not fulfill her duties or chooses to partake in any behavior deemed inappropriate by a vote then she will be required to send back all prizes and money including crown and banner and the first runner up will take her place. Miss

I understand that if I should win, I will have to send a copy of my birth certificate (or my child’s if a minor) to prove that the contestant must be 16 years of age on October 31 and cannot be 22 on October 31 of the year when the local pageant is held at the local fair. I agree I have never held the title “Miss Barren County Fair” in years past. I agree that if I have ever won “Miss Barren County” I am only eligible for “Miss Barren County Fair”. I agree that the contestant is a natural born female, single, never married, never had a marriage annulled, never been pregnant, and never had any children. I understand that if the contestant may win the title of “Miss Barren County Fair”, she will advance to the “Miss Kentucky County Fair pageant”. If the contestant may not fulfill her duties or chooses to partake in any behavior deemed inappropriate by a vote then she will be required to send back all prizes and money including crown and banner and the first runner up will take her place. I understand if for some reason the state pageant is not held or the contestant cannot compete at the state pageant, no further rewards will be given to the queen including monetary prizes.
